Netherlands

With the 2019 World Cup just around the corner, The Netherlands have never been close to the form that they are in with regards to results and tournaments. With a hungry and determined squad all in the prime of their careers, their story reads very similar to a certain men’s French team less than a year ago. With the exception of a lacklustre showing at the not so prestigious Algarve Cup, the Netherlands have been on fire after winning all of their home World Cup qualifiers on the back of victory at Euro 2017.

The Dutch forwards all possess electric pace and superb finishing, with a solid structure in the midfield and a rigid backline to support. Their recent form is telling, as they confidently dispatched of Mexico and Chile in back to back thrashings. Whether or not the Netherlands can find their best formula and get on track towards a World Cup victory will be intriguing to watch, however one thing’s for sure: this squad is capable of big things.

PREDICTION: Group: 1st Overall: Quarter Final
